For years the shorthand for a good Ardsley Park weekend was a coffee at Foxy Loxy, a walk down Washington Avenue, and dinner somewhere on the 4500 block of Habersham. That still works. It also misses where most of your neighbors actually are in July and August. The center of gravity has moved four blocks east, into Daffin Park itself, and the shopping strip has quietly become the after-party.
If you already live here, that reframing changes how you plan a summer weekend. It changes what you tell out-of-town family when they visit. It also explains why parking on Washington near Bee Road has gotten harder on Friday evenings.
